Workshop terms and conditions
Your workshop place will be
reserved once we receive your payment, which is non-refundable unless we have to cancel the workshop. You
can transfer to a different workshop if you let us know at least 14 days before the workshop you were due to attend. Workshops
are open to ages 14 and over. We give loyalty stickers for workshop bookings on the day of the workshop.

We supply everything you need on our workshops – tools, materials, refreshments.
Once you’ve booked and paid for your place you simply turn up! (*a couple of our scrapbooking
classes require you to bring some photos – see schedule). Phone 01928 787797 to book.

As a courtesy to others, we ask you to make and take phone calls outside

Group Bookings
Why
not bring your group on one of our workshops? We welcome private bookings for groups of 6 or more people
by arrangement. We have a wide range of workshops (both half day and full day) for you to choose from.

Workshop Descriptions
Preview Day
After
the success of our first preview afternoon back in September we are holding another to showcase our workshops for the next
few months. This free informal drop- in gives you a chance to see if the workshops are 'for you' and to discuss with
us what techniques are involved. If you attend you will also get first sight of our new workshop ideas for March (although
no samples for March will be complete). Refreshments provided.
Miss Nellie Tag Book
This is a solid mini book comprising lots of pockets with tags. Would make a lovely gift or a great
recipe book ( we ran this last year as a recipe book class and it is back by request with a more general theme).
Tons
of Techniques on Tags
If you saw Debi's demo at our last birthday weekend
and would relish getting hands on with these techniques then this is for you. We will be using the foam topped distress stains
to colour everything from ribbon to grunge paper, sticky back canvas, old book pages, chipboard etc. We will combine Tim Holtz
die cuts with all those 'dinky' ideology pieces, such as trinket pins, bulldog clips, muse tokens, mini staples, mini
paper clips etc to make the most up to the minute tags.
Craftwork Cards - 'Secret Garden'
By
popular request we are running some of these very appealing card collections as classes. Six themed cards will be completed
on each class starting with the 'Secret Garden' collection.
Intro to Scrapbooking
If
you are itching to get started but just don't know how this class is for you. The class has been changed and extended
slightly to lead you more thoroughly through the various stages including how to incorporate plain and patterned paper, matting
and layering, design, and elements such as titles,embellishments, and the all important journalling. You will go away inspired!
Hougie How-to. (bring your own board)
Want to know how to get the most out of this fantastic
tool? From shaped cards to card elements, mini folded books, boxes and bags with a difference - I could go on and on! If yours
is still in the bag, or you only use it to score cards with, come along and be amazed at the versatility of the hougie board.
Let's Do Layouts
Our Thru the Year class last year was an out and out
success. More layouts this year you cried. So, the class will once again change quarterly but we will mix double page layouts
with single page enabling us to have more time to include all sorts of interesting techniques.
On the Edge
Cutting edge cards - literally! Using a combination of border dies, border punches
and Tim Holtz on the edge dies we will make cards that give you the edge!
Stamping in Inchies
As
well as using the little stamps officially called 'Inchies', you will discover other ways of makings cards with mini
masterpieces on them.
Creative day
Create 3 wooden, home related items
in one day - a row of houses key holder, house shaped shadow box and a plaque. Would make beautiful gifts!
A cut above, with
Marianne
Dies, and those designed by Marianne in particular, were our
best selling item last year. These beautifully intricate designs (some emboss as well) make eye catching cards!
Demo Day
Debi will be showcasing products from Indigo Blu including
their great stamps (being used also on our tag technique class), their slim jims and flitterglu that is being launched on
Create & Craft mid Jan. We are proud to say they are an English company with some great products. Watch this space for
info of Kay (the owner) coming to demo for us herself later in the year!
ScrapHappy
Work on your albums with a group of like-minded people. Use our tools but bring
your own consumables such as paper, glue etc. No formal teaching but plenty of advice available. A social time!! Refreshments
included. WARNING: Don’t book
onto this if you are averse to raucous laughter!
Craft ‘n’ Chat
The same principle
as our ScrapHappy, but for cardmakers. Use our tools but bring, or buy, your own consumables such as paper, glue, inks etc.

Cricut – Katies ABC
Come
join our hugely popular ‘cricut’ class and work with one of their top selling cartridges. Learn
how to use the machine and make some fab cards. This class will run all year with a change of cartridge every two months.
* You do not have to have your own machine. Don’t forget if you purchase a machine from us we will
give you one-to-one training on how to use it.
Wax Painting
Create
landscapes and abstracts of amazing colour and detail using an iron, coloured wax, and easy techniques. No
artistic ability needed.
